Is previous knowledge of Derivatives from Level I and II required in III or everything is new? Because no matter how hard I study it, I can’t wrap my head around Derivatives so I wanted to know if I can directly start bursting my braincells for Level III Derivatives or I need to go back and start from scratch??

Derivatives at Level 3 is arguably (IMO) the most accessible across the three levels. The focus is much less about theory and more about how in practice derivatives are utilized within portfolios to meet certain objectives. To that end, I don’t believe you need to have mastered derivatives at earlier levels to do well in the topic now. So, just get started.
