Exam weights vs. topics

As we all know, CFA has 7 topics it is testing on L3: ethics, economics, equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments and portfolio management.

Unlike in L1 and L2 when we explicitly had books for each topic name, on L3 we have topics such as behavioral finance, private wealth management and institutional investors, economic analysis, asset allocation and fixed income portfolio management, equity portfolio management, alternative investments, risk management, derivatives, trading and performance evaluation.

Due to somewhat ambiguous names that could be classified in two areas (i.e. equity PM could go both to equities and PM) can someone here please help me figure out which topics go where? Am I missing something here?

I am asking this because I want to gauge my performance better. Thanks
