use of 2018 CFA books to prepare 2019 CFA

Hi all

i have subscribed for CFA 3 last year but ended up not sitting for it (personal reasons) .

I am now studying for the June 2019 exam using the 2018 books. Besides the courses that have changed (and that are flagged as changed), is the curriculum and exercises the same? is it safe to study using the 2018 books for the courses that are not flagged as having changed?

Thanks

You get the 2019 curriculum automatically with signing up for the exam, not?

I think it’s mostly the equity section that changed, and they have canceled the second section from Trading, and that’s all.

Thanks Moosey

I was speaking about the hard copy of the books.

i am not eager to pay the additiona 100USD for the new set of books if the change is only on specific chapters.

do you know if for the chapter where they say that there was no change they keep the same curriculum>
