The online mock exam says morning A and afternoon A. 60 questions each. It sounds like this is one full test.
Obviously, the morning session in the real test is essay questions.
Did they structure this mock to be 1 whole mock exam? Meaning morning session reflects what the morning normally tests just in this multiple choice format?
Or can I split these 2 and combine it with past essay morning exams to create 2 full mock exams?
CFAI only offer MCQ mocks and then provide prior year essays. You can join, split, or rip as wish. But you are forbidden to combine with a past essay morning exam as that would violate the standard of priority of transactions.
I used these with the 2016 and 2017 essay questions to get two full mock exams. There’s slight bias here because the questions (at least for me) weren’t evenly distributed between the two halves, but was still good practice.
