"Calculate" command word

Just wanting to make sure that im with everyone here, if we’re asked to ‘calculate’ and nothing else, would you incude any sort of explanation of the amount derived or no?

Suggested mock answers have few explanations. Im assuming these are only used to give explanations to the candidates.

You’re free to include any sort of explanation, including writing down the formula with variables and describing in detail what each variable means.

Note, however, that none of that will earn you any marks.

“Calculate” means “calculate”, it doesn’t mean “explain”.
