Work experience for Independent RIA

Is there anyone in my shoes? I am an independent RIA for more than four years. I am sure my experience qualifies but how can I get two reference letters?

Are you aware that the references do not need to come from a CFA Charterholder?

Are you close enough to your local chapter to attend a local society networking event?

I got a couple from friends at the local charter.

and got approved on the same day!. They are very efficient if all the ducks in a row.
