Can a local society reject work experience even though it has been approved by the institute.
I’m not sure that the local society considers work experience.
Work experience applies to whether or not you’re a charterholder, not whether or not you’re a member.
I think maybe the OP is referring to process of the local society reviewing your application (“under review - society” status on CFAI website). I too don’t understand what the local chapter is actually reviewing or approving/what would give them cause to reject. And, sheesh, they take forever.
