Does anyone know for sure how to separate out “Portfolio Management and Wealth Planning” – which CFA tells us will be 45-55% of the exam from the other stuff that is intimately related to Portfolio Management?
For example, the “Fixed Income” stuff is 10-20%. The only stuff that can be is readings 27-30, but the title of those sections contain the words “Portfolio Managment.”
I’m guessing the “Portfolio Managment and Wealth Planning” included IPSs for endowments, life cos., etc. – all the stuff up through the first reading on Equities (23, I think it is). But where does something like Risk Management fall? Is this category just a catch-all?
Anyone have any ideas/knowledge?
