Ethics- Gift question

Quick question on receiving gifts. This is my understanding: 1) All gifts may be disclosed to your employer before being accepted 2) Client gifts that may present a potential conflict of interest must be disclosed to the employer AND a written consent must be obtained from the employer Is this correct? For example, if you get a fruit basket you just have to tell your employer but if a client says he’ll give you a car if you can beat the benchmark by 5% you would have to disclose it AND receive written consent? Thoughts?

Y…e…s! BTW, what kind of fruit basket? What kind of Fruit? (rare kind?)

I hope a fruit basket doesn’t affect your judgement! Unless it’s “passion” fruit, haha.

you can say “No” to the gift(s) too
