Anchoring vs Belief Perseverance

What is the difference between Anchoring trap and Belief Perseverance bias ? As anchoring is when initial impressions, estimates or data anchor subsequent thoughts and judjements, it’s seems that it’s almost the same… may be it’s the same conception but different authors ?

I haven’t read belief perseverance (or at least don’t recall it at all)…where’d you hear that phrase?

I think not the same. Status quo is the tendency to think that recent past trend’ll not change.

I would say that maintaining a view in the face of conflicting evidence is confirming evidence trap
