real yield on an ex-ante basis...

any idea wat does this mean?

The actual Yield earned adjusted for inflation after the fact. So if I earned 4% Yield on my portfolio but inflation was 2%, but Real Yield was 2%.

ex-ante is FORWARD looking ex-post is BACKWARD looking

That’s right, so If expected return is 4%, and Expected inlfation is 2%, then expected Real Yield is 2%.
