I have been solving a lot of BT questions for part 1 preparation and have realized that they have sums for topics which are categorized as “Describe” or “Explain”. The methods used to solve these questions look alien to me since neither the BT notes nor the Schweser notes include any kind of mathematical portions under such topics. It’s getting to a point where I am doubting my preparation. Are these questions beyond the scope of the syllabus or can the exam have mathematical questions for “Describe” and “Explain” categories? Do I skip these questions or should I go back to books and have a more thorugh understanding of the topics (although I am pretty sure going back to books wouldn’t help prepare me any better for these questions) ?
It’s really pulling my morale down. Could someone please guide me as to how to go about these questions. Thanks in advance!
