Just Got GARP Business Developement Email

I just recieved an email from one of Garps Business Developement people seeking to have me put him in contact with the heads of my firm to further the GARP training and risk management agenda. In the email, he referred to me as being an FRM holder. This is from the email: “My name is XXXXX and I work in Business Development at GARP. As an FRM holder you know us well, and we appreciate your dedication.” I guess I can now call myself an FRM, if FRM employees are now saying I am.

What is the difference between an FRM Holder and a Certified FRM Holder? A: An FRM Holder has passed the FRM Exam requirement but has not yet met the professional work experience requirement. A Certified FRM Holder has taken and passed the FRM Exam, has met the two year work experience requirement and has been certified by GARP. http://www.garp.com/frmexam/faq.aspx

Ahh, thank you. Damnit.
