After reading Flash Boys I’m curious how IEX avoids predatoring of investors by high frequency traders.
I understand that IEX can slow down their own feeds to ensure hfts do not have an unfair advantage, but how does IEX ensure this type of security when they route your order to another exchange when IEX bid/ask is not competitive?
