Look at investor presentations and listen to investor calls and compare against long term trends for further out forecasts if it’s a cyclical company. They’ll usually provide guidance / forecasts that are typically accurate as they directly control the cost. The exception might be companies with high development risks like an aircraft manufacturer. Alternately for noncyclicals you can look back at historical levels.
