my opinion: poor management that lead to declining sporadic fundamentals, accelerated by terrible acquisitions fueled by a ton of debt.
current situation is new leadership planning to shrink the company by selling assets to pay off debt, and to manage the remaining assets to outperform its peers by slashing costs.
