Tax Efficient Investment Accounts

Does anyone have a method for the most tax efficient way to invest in global assets (individual equities, funds, etfs etc)? I am based in South Africa, but want to maybe look at switching to open a trading account or even a platform where I can invest in the most tax efficient manner.

Cheers.

buy a good stock that compounds well and never sell.

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

I think this might have more to do with the taxation laws of South Africa than your account type or investment product.

In general, ETFs are the most tax efficient way to invest. You could do individual securities and build some sort of tax harvesting model but that sounds boring. Just buy ETFs, even though they’ll certainly cause the next financial crisis.
