^ the death penalty is generally carried out in the most humane way possible, which is arguably too generous for these two. they should lose their lives in the same manner as the way this child lost his, and I’d bet there would be a line around the block to help execute (pun intended) this order.

This is even more gut-wrenching for a parent. For some reason the movie “The Road” came to mind when I read this article - same nauseating feeling.
Death penalty is too lenient in cases like this. Hopefully Bubba will take care of the guy in the showers.

I find it hard to believe that the parents were not under the influence when they did this. Both of them must have been hallucinating pretty badly to gang up on the poor child like this.
I hate these kind of stories. I just don’t want to know that this kinda thing happens.
In a strange way, I feel that the parents have already punished themselves. How low would you feel the next day knowing you’d killed your own son. You can’t sink any lower than that. Sad on every front this story.

In all seriousness, this is the type of stuff that confirms my perception that life is nasty, brutish and short. So, essentially I don’t really give it much thought other then to be gratefull for all the good things that I have in my life.
