Not the 420 type.

Anybody know anything about these? My wife wants one.

Don’t have one myself, but have heard they do a very nice job.

got it 3 years ago before it got mainstream(https://www.analystforum.com/comment/91686620#comment-91686620). love it.

what i cook in it:

-bone broth

-chicken

-beef and broccoli

-rice (comes out amazing)

-steam veggies

one of the best investments i ever made for the kitchen

how do you cook bone broth?

do you just ask the butcher for a ham bone or something

It’s good for bean.

I am not sure if any kind of slow cooker should be called an “instant pot”. Anyway, supposedly, they are useful. I have never been comfortable with having some machine cooking stuff while I go out though.

I agree with you ohai. I prefer a hot chick operating the bean machine.

Was not aware farting was a fetish.

yea i usually buy organic bones or ask the butcher i know for bones

do NOT use non organic/non pasture bones

i follow this recipe

http://www.phoenixhelix.com/2015/03/21/instant-pot-bone-broth-tutorial/

its not just a slow cooker its like 7 in 1. pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, yogurt maker etc

i mainly use it for pressure cooking and it works great, and its safe

As I understand it, you get slow cooker results in 30 minutes or something like that.

I thought it was the thread about the pot

Love mine. I also make bone broth and the soup/eggs for ramen. It makes insanely good soft boiled eggs. Super easy to make brown rice, quinoa, steam veggies. It’s convenient because you can just turn it on and forget about it until you’re ready to eat.

you were hoping for sativa/indica?

do you use the 7-7-7 method?

I totally was thinking about the set it and forget it guy as I was writing that…

He did well with getting the messsage out. Ron Popeil … the legend … also worth $100 million
