But I agree, you could make a bomb ass meal from the dollar menu back in the day.
I feel like burrito is the answer here. Tastes great, leaves me full all day and if you know the right places you can get them cheap without risking food poisoning.

6 bucks for the large pizza at little Caesar. When I want to be generous to my friends I buy 1 of these. Lol
taco bell has they most variety in terms of dollar menu.
mc Donald’s has raised the prices on their value menu plus it sucks. But you can get 40 nuggets for 10 bucks used to be 50
jack in the box jr bacon cheeseburger for 1.75 is pretty good.
carls jr has the big carl for 2.5. They have coupons buy 1 get 1 free every now and then.
Subway has 6 dollar subs that changes daily. Black Forest ham on Saturday.
popeyes selling leg and thight for 1.75. But I prefer getting the fried chicken at vons.
they are selling some rib eye at Ralph’s for 4.75 for Labor Day weekend. I’m prolly going to get 6 lbs worth. And just freeze and eat steak daily haha
