Goodbye Rex Tillerson

I guess Trump doesn’t need him now that he’s not trying to be buddies with Russia any more.

I mean, Rex did have to publicly deny calling his boss a “moron.” Kind of tough to put that rabbit back in the hat.

That’s true. I guess once you’re the CEO of a company liken Exxon, you get used to not having a filter.

Pompeo is a neocon ghoul. This is an unfortunate development.

where can i apply for a post with this administration? they are running through names at a very rapid pace - itll be my time soon enough! id like to write a nice book after its all said and done. wonder if i could last longer than the mooch

Depends. Can you say on live TV “President Trump is the greatest genius of our time” with a straight face? That’s the first job requirement. Otherwise, you could be a HOPA aka Hope Hicks.

Sometimes I wonder if trump just fires people so that noone can get to know too much of the whole picture and put enough pieces together. More likely though its probably because of some personal grudge over things like the moron comment.

These guys quit or get fired because they are not “loyal” enough to Trump, meaning that they don’t praise and support every one of his policies or opinions. Supposedly, Cohn left because he did not publicly endorse Trump’s tariffs. His reputation is more valuable than that job. I also suspect that some of these people are afraid that they will go to prison if supporting Trump means that they will have to lie on record.

Earlier, power struggle was also a reason why some people were pushed out. The Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, or Scaramucci type pushed anyone out who they thought was starting to influence Trump. I’m sure this is still going on to some extent, even if the most publicly bitchy people are not there any more.

North Korea: regime change

Russia: bad but election interference nbd

Israel: love em, keep it up

Iran: love too kill brown ppl

Yep, that checks all the boxes.

It’s hard to keep up with the craziness of Trumpworld. I’m still trying to understand how a senior attorney in the Trump organization with close ties to Trump himself, needs to take out a HELOC to come up with 130k cash?

Most of his money was tied up in timeshares.

Maybe he is just like some AF people and think that home equity or borrowing against retirement accounts is just another way to pay yourself and make money from nowhere.

And that’s why a person’s house should be included in net worth.

All roads lead to the same place.

home equity loans are no longer tax deductible. very sad. but i’ve seen fixed rate home equity loans at around 5% with a 15 yr duration. which is still purty decent imo.

What has Rex actually accomplished

More than any of us

trump negotiated n korea

he negotiated wtih china

rex getting paid to fly around
