"HSBC Bank USA is accused in a new lawsuit of discriminating and retaliating against a relationship manager in Manhattan because of his digestive disorder and use of protected medical leave.
Rodney Stroud said the mistreatment started after he took roughly three months off of work when his gastroparesis worsened. The incurable, lifelong condition affects the nerves lining the stomach and causes severe malfunction of stomach muscles and the intestines, disrupting the digestive system, according to Stroud’s Nov. 28 court complaint."
We should not take for granted a healthy digestive system and regular movements. For some, this is cause of life stress.
