Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arabian dissident who was dismembered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul, was a resident of Virginia and a columnist for the Washington Post. The Washington Post, along with the NY Times, has been covering Trump closely. Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
I’m very curious how they got Bezos’ pics. He’s got to be smart enough not to do anything dumb and have them get out – especially since a normal hacker would just go to him instead of through AMI. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever get the details, but it’s unexpected.
Even if they are biased towards Trump, I doubt this newspaper is complicit with Trump. There are obvious motives for blackmailing Bezos ($$$). Although, these guys are walking a thin line here…

Um well, if the hacker went to the newspaper, he probably got paid and has a greater chance of retaining anonymity. Bezos will give these Enquirer guys nothing and might retaliate some how.

New rumor is that Michael Sanchez (brother of Bezos’ mistress Lauren Sanchez) for getting the info. What’s interesting is that Michael is pro-trump, was considered a friend by Roger Stone, and doesn’t like Bezos.
So this could either be him just trying to mess with Bezos because of his sister, he wanted money and this was an opportunity for some Amazon money, or this could be politically motivated. Who knows - and either way wouldn’t really surprise mee.
