Ask anyone who’s been in the military if they ever want to see a tank again? Most definitely not. Only President Bone Spurs would want tanks on the street in DC, because it has no meaning to him, just an image tool.
A bunch of the former military friends have been hyping this on social media, so I guess it comes down to which side you support (they’re pretty Trumpy).

I’d guess that if you were in the military and you could potentially be in a combat situation, you’d really prefer to have more, new tanks than no tanks.

6 years of US Army pride, 2 deployments. I never want to see a tank again. To be honest, every year that goes by I soften a bit on this, but I definitely don’t want to see them on the streets of Washington DC.
DoD bagged upgrading the Abrams, the Army doesn’t see a major role for them in future warfare. So I guess that means no tank you?
