yea who is this organzation. 100 ppl die is an emergency? the us flu last year killed 10k, and the year before that was 80k. now thats a crisis. this corona is nothing, you just need a lil lemon to make things better.

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

This trade war is getting out of hand. Mexico stop exporting Corona so China starts exporting Coronavirus? China really dialed it up to 11.

Corona? It is all about del sol

haaa just got an email from work. Anyone who has been to the Hubei province or in contact with someone from the Hubei province after Jan 14 th is not allowed to come to the office for 2 weeks. Well that escalated quickly.

If you're the first out the door, that's not called panicking

Haha lol I love it. What a bunch pansies. If you have a good immune system you don’t have to worry!

And people wonder why the Philippines is chronic basket case.

Don't be a tough guy. Don't be a fool. I will call you later.

According to the news, now one 44 year old Filipino man has died from this virus. However, I’m not worried about Nery, since both alpha status and resistance to coronavirus are a function of attitude and the will to succeed.

lol. this whole thing is overblown. 1 person died out of 100m, and yall are panicking. they are nothing like the black death, spanish flu, or hiv.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_epidemics

^these are death numbers and they didnt even adjust that **** for inflation!

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

here are some fresh stats. since there are so many pansies in the us. a kill count of 10k from the flu is actually nothing. average should be about 50k.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/03/the-flu-has-already-killed-10000-across-us-as-world-frets-over-coronavirus.html

While the new coronavirus ravages much of China and world leaders rush to close their borders to protect citizens from the outbreak, the flu has quietly killed 10,000 in the U.S. so far this influenza season.

At least 19 million people have come down with the flu in the U.S. with 180,000 ending up in the hospital, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The flu season, which started in September and can run until May, is currently at its peak and poses a greater health threat to the U.S. than the new coronavirus, physicians say

“In the U.S., it’s really a fear based on media and this being something new,” Dr. Jennifer Lighter, hospital epidemiologist at NYU Langone Health, said of the new coronavirus. “When in reality, people can take measures to protect themselves against the flu, which is here and prevalent and has already killed 10,000 people.”

The coronavirus outbreak, however, is proving to be more deadly than the flu. It has killed roughly 2% of the people who have contracted it so far, according to world health officials. That compares with a mortality rate of 0.095% for the flu in the U.S., according to CDC estimates for the 2019-2020 flu season. The CDC estimates that 21 million people will eventually get the flu this season.

“Two percent case fatality is still a tough case fatality when you compare it to the case fatality for the seasonal flu or other things,” Dr. Mike Ryan, executive director of WHO’s health emergencies program, told reporters Wednesday.

“A relatively mild virus can cause a lot of damage if a lot of people get it,” he added. “And this is the issue at the moment. We don’t fully understand it.”

to be fair everytime a war occured. china lost. mongols. britain. japan. i dont think its in their best interest. especially because we live in world of wmds that can easily kill a lot of people at very minimal cost.

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

China won the war on Christmas.

When I was young I was called a rugged individualist. When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric. Here I am doing and saying the same things I did then and I'm labeled senile.

they even lost the Trade War….haha

RIP

its quite fascinating though. cuz these outbreaks should cause an economic slowdown. the higher the economic activity, the faster the spread of the virus. i hear china has extended the chinese lunar new year to stop corona!

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

Can’t really have a Corona without a little lime.

Any takers on lime disease :)

Ah yes, I forgot westerners believe history only began in 1500 AD

Nothing like reminiscing of the good old glory days that no one remembers or cares about, eh? Kind of like the buffalo bills’ fans.

TIL 1.3 billion Chinese don’t care about their history. I guess that why Zheng He has now entered mainstream Chinese memory

Hopefully the memory of Zheng He will cause some sort of cultural introspection, after all, wasn’t it during his time that the Chinese went full retarded and voluntarily destroyed their own navy in a massive bonfire?

General Tso was one of the greatest leaders. He even has a dish named after him!

technically people who are rich burn their money by throwing it for peasants to pick up. also for bottle service.

I love my cheese. I got to have my cheddar.

Well, bottle service is more or less throwing money for people to pick up.
