Thanks. Just joined AF this morning, have always been a passive reader around exam date. Now that I manage to pass, I want to share the results for those who collect statistics for MPS estimation.

S2000magician, did you say “congratulations” to Mikewinner? I must know if that guy is a genius who not only passed CFA on the first try, but also amazingly predicted his pass with 30 minutes to spare at AM section.

Just curious if the founder of this Results topic passed the exam. He was very confident right after exam and being a first time taker was warned by retakers about dangers of overconfidence in estimating exam performance. If he did pass Exam he deserves a lot of praise, if he didn’t then he became wiser.

My first time taking Level 3 after completing my Level 2 in 2010 and hopefully the last…

I found the morning session OK, managed to complete all 11 on time, worried a little about the handwritting although tried to be as precise as possible. I would say in total managed to get 75% with 90% confidence. Had another 30 min left to just browse through the questions…

Afternoon was relatively easy, ethics was tricky for me. I d say 75% as well. Had another 30 min left hence left the exam earlier.

Nailed both sessions !

All together I am confident that should do it !

Took a few days to just take it all in and celebrate w/family and friends, but def wanted to come back here and thank everyone who has been so supportive on this extremely stressful journey - finally done!

Updated my resume/LinkedIn and patiently waiting for the local society to approve my application, but since they charge extra (on top of the CFAI membership of $275), I won’t activate it. Annoyed that it wasn’t clear before or else I would’ve been approved and ready to use those three letters. Ah well, only 25 more days. Next focus - JOB SEARCH (and then a MUCH NEEDED VACAY!)

Thank you all once again - over the last few years, this forum has been extremely kind and helpful to me & hope I can return the favor in someway in the future.

AM was extremely easy. Apart from the ethics questions I felt that PM was a breeze however a lot of questions in the PM seemed easy up front but there were a few really clever tricks that I’m glad I caught.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I personally love horses, but it has been awhile since I rode one. I had a friend who was actually obsessed with horses - she was 8-5 at work, but then 5-late night at stables. Everything in her room was somehow related to horses and if it was her birthday the gift had to be horse-related… A little hard to have relationships with such person unless you are a horse

Looks like this thread smoothly turned into horse topic - understandable given that everyone is likely already reported their results and I will unlikely be able to put the hero on the piedestal.
