Based on the 40/60/80 rule, I scored between 69% and 70% overall. I’m guessing I was around a 73-75% like I was scoring on the CFA mocks.

Waited all day just to find out I didn’t pass.
Passed with all subjects over 70 except Quant (51-70).
Had to login CFA website for the result, still got no email, just want to see what time it will come, it’s 4.20 AM now in my country.

I didnt get any email but went to sleep (im in Asia now) and woke up also to find no email. luckily results are on the website.
70+ on everything except Alt Investments which is between 50 and 70.
Since Alt Investments has only 4 questions then we that i got 2 out of 4 correctly coz that is the only way my score on it would be between 50 and 70% 
passed, all over 70%. Result is available in website but there is still no mail. someone told me that it is because of a dot in the middle of my gmail.
I passed CFA Level I June 2017 exam, first time taking exam. Finance/private equity background.
I said if I passed the CFA exam. I would write a brief post of what I truly did to pass the exam because I think some are not honest about how much effort they put in or don’t track it and underestimate.
500+ hours of studying, 5,000+ questions (Kaplan and CFAI EOCs), completed 5 full mocks, and I did not score over 70% on 4 of 5 of the full mocks (my last mock I scored 72.5%). I started studying in Nov 2016.
I am married with 3 kids and I work in PE with a very demanding job. I studied 6 days a week from 430AM to 6:30AM (except travel days, Sundays, and holidays). During the last 6 weeks, I studied day and night and 4-5 hours on the weekend.
It can be done, just put in the time. I’d rather be over prepared than under-prepared going into any CFA exam.

No finance background (but took the claritas program last year). Started studying on Oct 2016 and did 6 mock exams during May.
