3/3 club

No, you cannot brag about it on the resume, which implied those 3/3 is superior than other candidate. CFAI clearly stated that those who pass the test are all equal no matter how many times they try.

3/3 December 2009 June 2010 June 2011 Schweser only

Just mentioning “passed all 3 levels on first attempt” is not a violation. Not that i would mention it in my resume, i would wait till the interview and let the conversation go towards it (what am i most proud of? Passing all three CFA exams on the first try - or something like that if it does not come up naturally).

I envy all of you… there, I said it.

count it. schweser only

schweiser sauce only. i made it too even though i have to admit it was a marginal pass for lvl3 (i’m good at ethics  ). will never brag about it ever again. moscow moscow london and actually i once had an interview with a headhunter and he asked me whether i passed the exams from the first attempt (lvl2 at that time)… so. but only if you’re being asked. Be smart enough to never put it your cv.

And we may have found the douchiest thread on the forum

^ Maybe, but I think the gap between euphoric chest puffery and d**chebagginess is wider than it would appear; I don’t think most of these posters are out to rub salt in any wounds.

no…im pretty sure this is douchey

how bout this, I went 3 for 3, am extremely handsome and im a big stud!!

What about this: June 2009: CFA L1 Nov 2009: FRM L1 June 2010: CFA L2 Nov 2010: FRM 2 June 2011: CFA L3 5/5 ! All passed first try. Anyone who did this too? Must admit that FRM is much easier when you are used to CFA and there is some overlap in the material (quants). Used Schweser for CFA and FRM. CFAI EOC for CFA L3 BTW: married and three kids.

Since when we have become so beaten down we can’t celebrate any type of personal achievement. Sorry if you didn’t pass 3/3 but the CFA isn’t a medal awarded on “Everybody Gets a Medal Day”

douche thread

How can folks even verify the veracity of your claim that you passed all three levels on your first try? Someone who didn’t pass Level I can even come here and make the same claim since no one can verify. 5 pages of this crap? This is all BS as far as I’m concerned.

why is it BS Damil4real. Its a mix of self-reporting bias and some 23 year olds parading around on the internets.

We’re not all 23! I’m 36. This is probably the only place I would mention my 3/3. Our CIO, who is a charterholder, mentioned that she was 3/3 too when she came into my office to congratulate me on passing L3. It is really just more of a relief at not having to spend the time studying again than a self-serving d**che parade, as others would like to think.

Don’t hate, appreciate!

I can say I’m happy I passed all three on the first try, especailly becuase I was diagnosed with testicular cancer six days prior to the Level II exam, delayed my surgery to write the test, and then passed it with >70% in every section. Best motivation ever.

Actually I have mixed feelings about this thread - on one hand it appears pointless and childish, on the other people finding it ‘douche’ seems to be irritated because they are not part of this club
