31 Days! Whats the Plan?

I am just finishing up the last video on the 3 day review right now. After that I am going to do all the EOC Q’s and hit the Q-bank pretty hard while getting a few mock exams done. I think at this point unless I’m really failing an area bad I just need to do a million questions to remind myself of things I learned during my first run. Also I’ll read the ethics chapter the day before the exam.

I get the no hockey thing! last yr, my team made it so far and I couldn’t watch cuz I was studying for level 1.this yr, they got eliminated first round so it’s not too bad… hopefully, next yr will be the last time I cant watch playoff hockey!

What about the joke the Schweser audio notes makes in the Soft Dollars Section, when he’s like “and I hope youre not writing these down while you drive.” I almost smiled when i heard it. Also, if you think its boring listening, can yuo imagine being the person who is taped reading the notes? How does he not fall asleep reading it??

Finishing up PM. Then its a couple of days review for each section. For whatever reason, i am not as worried about this exam as I was the 1st one…

I’ve got 1/2 of Derives , PM, and Equity left which are my strongest areas by a wide margin. Taking a week off before the exam. I’m ready to crush this thing!

Well, my situation is that I just started a new job on Monday (which fortunately is totally awesome so that’s great news aside from not being good for CFA prep) after dealing with unbelievable work drama over the past 4 months at my old job. So my studying has not been good due to major stress and long work hours along with a serious job search. Now that things are a bit settled and I won’t have time to read through the whole curriculum I will just hit EOC and CFAI practice test questions as hard as I can; just answer as many questions as I possibly can over the next month as that’s probably the most effective way to spend limited time. And to you guys talking about NHL playoffs, believe me I feel your pain. I live in Sharks territory and man the Sharkies are looking the best they ever have this year. I watched 2 of the games in the Kings series and the first Red Wings game only and I’m going to have to stay away from watching even though they are looking to make a serious run for Lord Stanley’s Cup this year. Ah well go Sharks! And good luck to all of you, just hit it hard for one more month and watch a playoff game now and then to recharge if you’re feeling really burnt out!

Are most of you hockey fans Canadian or something? I never knew this many people watched hockey

In major panic mode… I feel like if I try to stick something new into my head, three things that I learned pop out and is lost forever! I seriously feel like my brain capacity is not capable of storing all this information… It’s like trying to stick 1000 people into a subway train that fits 300…

I felt like you last year - wasn’t as worried because I rocked Exam I. Then the practice tests really made me worry, and on exam day I got crushed. Band 6. This time leaving very little to chance. If this is your first time at Level II - be afraid, be very afraid.

This vast syllabus of L2 is making me feel as if im losing my memory already!

Maybe you guys have a crayon pushing on your brain? JK I know how you feel. I feel like when I read things I"m just glossing over the words and only seem to rememebr stuff from doing questions.

Sometimes… reading say… 11th hour for like the 3rd time… I sometimes realize i’m just reading the right half of the paragrah. My eyes are so tired out of reading all this cr*p that once it reads the first line, its resisting going back to the left to read the next sentence! I’m gonna so fail its not even funny haha

i actually really enjoy listening to andy holmes. he’s an entertaining teacher. but i guess i am pathetic.

I’ve done preparing using Schweser and I made my own notes which helps a lot in revision. I’ve solved EOC 3 times till now and Passed through all official mock exams 2009-2011. I understood all the concepts, memorized the formulas, but i’m left with ethics for this month. Guess I’m gona work on 2 ethics cases a day maybe 3. I’m facing a problem though I’m scoring almost 60% on schweser mock and 50% on official mock exam however when I look at the solution, i find it achievable and easy. I kinda faced the same problem in level 1 and i ended up scoring >70s on all sections. Is anyone facing the same problem?
