probably my first and only post during (now after L3): 62.4% Pass!! The CFA Gods were smiling upon me that day. Must have rocked the sections I did well on and close to 50% on the less than 50% ones. Considering I just had kid number two in mid April I’m estatic. Don’t know if it would have been feasible to try to find the study time one more year. My wife would have killed me. “Hey, I’m going to spend frequent nites and as much time as possible away from all of you on Sat & Sun to earn 3 little letters.” “Will it directly lead to a better job or higher income to help improve our lives?” “No, of course not!” “Oh, okay, that makes perfect sense then! You need more letters after your name!” To those who were close but failed – it is unfortunate, basically bad luck. As you know, it could have fell one way or the other. But you’ll have better luck next time as you’ll be more prepared. My 3 cents of advice: on the exam and during the final week, never give up, especially if you feel “boderline”. As an example, I re-studied GIPS (among other things) the afternoon before the exam and learned 3 or 4 items that appeared on the test that I would not have gotten otherwise. That probably pushed me over the edge. (Of course, I also finally nailed down attribution and calculating effective rates for loans and none of that ever appeared.) So congrats to the passers, consulations to those who did not. Now let’s see if the half-life for most of this information is 2 months or 2 years. I’m leaning towards 2 months. Too-ta-loo AF!

Monki Please post your score grid appears you have the lowest 40/60/80 pass.

Just playing around - using the median of each category - 25/60/85 - should yield a higher score for the pass and lower for the nonpass by increasing variance. Using this, I get a score of 66.7 vs my 40/60/80 of 64.8 - which might indicate that the cutoff line is around 65, or 5 pct south of the 70 autopass line. Hard for me to think that I could pass at 64.8. Good luck to all - enjoyed my visits to the AF.

The lowest pass everyone else that posted results was 63.28%. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AoefWFxSpGw3dGhrbnNVa0s1M2x3MTVoc0J0a0htMXc&hl=en http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?13,1049159
