The Libertarian Party of Texas did a poll on Facebook a while back regarding abortion. The question was, “When does life begin? At conception, at birth, or somewhere in between?” 70% of the respondents said life begins at conception. Only 10% said it began at birth.

(Not that it’s the epitome of scientific research, but I still thought the results were interesting.)

Pro choice people definitely know the fetus is alive. They just think that the woman should be able to decide to kill it anyway.

im 100% sure that most are in denial and will make the argument that it is not yet human. you say kill or call a fetus a baby and it becomes big deal emotionally!
