do you guys feel the same?
i feel there are benefits to pounding essay questions and not so much MC questions. the essays help you learn things in more granular detail because thats whats required for full marks. whereas the PM you can get a question right by “kinda knowing it” and making an educated guess.
Yes, but the AM questions are relatively easier and less technical than PM questions. I think there is a positive correlation between them but this correlation is low.
i dont necessarily agree with that fully. i partially agree, with regards to the quantitative/technical questions that involve formulas on the AM: many of them are plug and chug. whereas the quantitative questions on the PM involve more tricks you need to apply before using the formula.
overall, i kinda wish the AM was more numbers and the PM was more theory.
Tommy it sounds like you pounded MCQ but if you’re weak on AM it’s time to up your game there and focus there. Presumably most people will score well on PM if the paper is nice, morning paper is what cuts the crowd. Focus on AM past papers and as many AM mocks as you can get and you’ll be fine. There tends to be a lot of repeat every year!
rex i remember you from L2. your content on these forums always lifts my spirits. heres to meeting you on the “other side”
(ps my typical schweser mock is like 50% AM and 70% PM) so im like…right there. RIGHT FRIGGIN THERE. just need a little more. a 50 AM 70 PM is a band 9/10
And of course how can I forget the iconic high 50’s low 60’s band 9 guy!
You will be fine mate! Although when you put your scores as fractions and not percentages I am constantly scratching my head to determine how well you’ve actually done. haha.
