There do seem to be a ton of Rutgers people in New Jersey; around there, there seems to be an “R” sticker on every other Honda Oddyssey, the official vehicle of New Jersey.
I went to one of those crap schools and all I have to show for it is a shi!tload of debt. will never go to one of those again.
Rutgers is a surprisingly big school. I think they have north of 65,000 students among their multiple campuses.
^ Big enough to be in the Big Ten now.
UT is a good school, but no way its as good as H/S/W, even in Austin. There are some standout grads from UT and I see plenty of successful people with McCombs MBAs but 90% of the graduates will never make more than 250k a year.
I’m at Wharton. All I can say is that I’m very impressed with the network and access a Top MBA can get you to places.
CFA did absolutely nothing for me, except for actually teach me finance which I guess is a nice thing. Professionally it has been useless.

Word. . If you’re looking for a way to learn finance, do the CFA. . If you’re looking for a way to quickly transition from no-experience-in-finance to a $100k+ finance job at a prestigious bank, do a top MBA.
