Guy behind me in Seattle blatantly filled in bubbles after time was called. Some young proctor girl told him to stop but he continued anyways. When the afternoon ended he tried to pull the same stunt but this time a boss man proctor from another section came over and told him to stop. This proctor then had all the other proctors in my section had to write this report thing. I honestly wonder how many people blatantly cheat and nothing gets done about it. This guy would have gotten away with filling in 20+ blank answers had that other proctor not done somethina

In hindsight I should have checked the list just to be sure, but I never thought that the HP 10bII wouldn’t be allowed. Anyone know why it isn’t? From what I can tell it doesn’t give any kind of advantage or opportunity to cheat. It’s not like a graphing calc that you can load stuff on to.
I can see it now! “I’m not cheating I promise!” (see hyperlink for photo) http://www.geekalerts.com/u/giant-calculator.jpg

Your results should have been voided. The CFA rules clearly say that you have to take the batteries out of their packaging. What the crap were you doing with three anyway? One for Quant and FRA, One for Econ, Corp Finance and One in case the battery actually runs out. (Should have had one for Ethics) Maybe next time. I figured…I should keep the batteries in the package in my jeans packet. If I don’t use them, I can return them after the test. If I HAVE TO use them, well, I raise my hand and have the proctor check the package and open it in front of her/his eyes. They got to be human, aren’t they?
“I saw the proctor taking the paper that wraps around erasers (in other parts of the world, we call them rubbers)…” Yeah… it happend to me when I went the the restroom before the test. When I got back, people told me the proctor took a lot of efforts to tear it apart (by the way, this thing push out with no effort…you know.???XXX) By the way, is there anything in the ethic call respect? At least she could wait until I got back. They have the responsibiltiy to make sure people don’t cheat…but, that doesn’t give them the right to ruin people’s personal belongings or assume we are bunch of liars. Little eraser cost nothing but still a personal belongings. They have the right to take things, like cell phone, etc away then give them back after the test…but not the right to ruin, tear apart people’s personal belongings… Hahahah…you should know by now I work with Atterneys a lot.

I wouldn’t count on the proctors being “that human”, just to save a couple bucks…
