Ha, yeah, well at least taxpayers won’t be bailing out Mt.Gox investors for the next 20 years. Use Bitstamp or (for us in Canada) Virtex. Maybe BTC-E. Wouldn’t touch any other exchange. Litecoin is a scam, I wouldn’t touch it at all. And don’t even get me started on Maxcoin…

I don’t think many people use proper internet safety procedures. It’s scary to think they’d use those same procautions when money is digital and easily transferred

What I want to know is how do businesses accept bitcoins as payments? Do they instantly flip the bitcoin for USD? I would imagine there could be a discount to value since volume/liquidity changes so rapidly.
