72% on the 2006 exam. I’ll go through my mistakes tomorrow and proceed to the CFA samples and mocks… it’s 3.35am and I’m TIRED. See you tomorrow. The end is near!
I’m gathering that it’s almost not a good idea to do the book 7 exams? I took the 2006 exam and scored a 72%. Wondering if the other book 7 exams will do anything other than beat my confidence down or if they’re worthwhile. The QBank advanced questions seem quite a bit easier than the schweser exams, not as helpful in my opinion. Thanks for any insight.

Book 6 is done. And if it wasn’t for the Treynor Black Vingette that I scored a donut on I would have had a half decent score. I just can’t seem to study that LOS becuase I can’t imagine that it is put on the test again as an entire vingette. 1 AM: 65 1 PM: 58 2 AM: 62 2 PM: 75 3 AM: 70 3 PM: 70 On to the CFA Mock Exams…

I suppose I should join the club. Book 6 1AM: 51% (took it in April so about what I expected) 1PM: 67% 2AM: 65% 2PM: 72% 3AM: 73% (even with a 0/6 on the econ section…ugh) FSA seems to be my saving grace as I am averaging 5/6 on those item sets. Back to the books…
1 AM = 68.3% 1 PM = 80.0% 2 AM = 75.0% 2 PM = 83.3% AVG = 76.65% But I guessed LOTS of questions. My ‘normalised’ score would be atleast 3-4% lower on all exams

My scores: 1 AM = 68% 1 PM = 83% 2 AM = 78% 2 PM = 78% (just taken) 3 AM = you’ll know tomorrow 3 PM = you’ll know on Thursday I don’t plan to do more tests than book 6. I don’t want to wait my time and my confidence with book 7. My objective is to have 1 error per set, not more. I’m not yet there and my results are not really improving… Also, I’m finishing the exams 10 to 15 minutes before 3 hours. I think I’m relatively slow but the thing is I’m really trying hard to mark the points. Sometimes I take 5 minutes or more on one question… Do you think I have resonable chances to pass or should I stop wasting my time right now? Any advice?
you’ll be fine. I would recommend taking the actual 2006 exam, though. You don’t want to be Schweserized

Volume 1 1 AM 88% 1 PM 83% 2 AM 85% 2 PM 77% 3 AM 85% 3 PM 87% Volume 2 1 AM 87% 2 AM 75% Weakest areas as far as percentage correct have been Ethics 71%, Asset Valuation (Valuation Concepts) 67%, Analysis of Equity Investments (Industry and Comp. Analysis) 72%, Analysis of Equity Investments (Valuation Models) 75%, and Portfolio Management 77%. I plan on taking the two other Volume 2 exams over the next two days and end on Friday with both the free CFAI sample exam and the 2006 exam.
