Hi everyone, I’ve uploaded the template documents to Google docs. the access is public, and the links are below. as i mentioned in my email, the pension plan is not complete (just ran out of time). i would strongly suggest to review each and every example and eofc CFA texts on IPS. I kept these in Word so you can use them and modify as you please. There should be total of 7 documents. https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9YjU5N2UyYmYtNDAwMC00ZmJiLWIxMWMtMWM3MzAzZGE1NDE0&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9YWQ0OTVlYTctNTUxZi00NTc3LTlkOWUtNjBiZWU3NWVlOTEx&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9MmEzZWE5N2MtZjU4YS00MjIwLTkyMDAtM2E3MWQwNzhkNzIy&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ODc0YWM3ZWYtOTdjZi00MDdkLWFjODMtMWYzODU2ZTU2YWM3&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9OWMzZTk5MzUtNmViOC00MTc4LWE2OGQtZWZmYTRmM2RmYzE2&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ZjA5N2E1ZWUtZjk5Yy00ZWIzLWJjN2UtYmU1N2VjOGYxNTcx&hl=en https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9NDQzOTM4MDctZGY1Yi00MDMwLTg2NGItZjAzMzdiZDM1ZGRk&hl=en
Hi: I have also developed other aids just for myself. I posted these into Google docs as well (8 documents). Please feel free to use/modify as you study if you find these helpful. If you end up using these, a few thoughts: make sure what i wrote is correct and makes sense as i do make typos : ) also i wanted to mention something about formulas. i wouldn’t memorize any of the formulas, but rather learn the idea/logic behind them. i had a formula list but only reviewed it 3 days prior to exam. also cfa will ask you a question in a different format to what you are accustomed to. make sure do lots of eofc exercises, past exams, etc. and understand where the formula ingredients come from and how they change. Schweser vs. CFA text. I would study derivatives and allocation calculations based on Schweser formula presentations, but always apply those to CFA text examples. Some examples and formula variations are not even covered in Schweser. https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9MDIwM2NlNjItMjc2Mi00Y2UwLWEwMDQtZmEwYmI5ZGEyNzZm&hl=en&authkey=CI71yZMK https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9OWU3OTczY2MtNzU1ZC00ZWU5LWEyNDEtNTQ1ODVhYmQ2YWM0&hl=en&authkey=CL2y28QM https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9YzRmOTdjYmEtYzUxZi00M2E4LWExMmItNDc3ZDIwZGNkOWFj&hl=en&authkey=CPjyxuMB https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ZDdmMGIyZTQtMjM3Ni00OGE0LWI4YjItZWJmZWYxNjUxNWY3&hl=en&authkey=CPnT2Y0G https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ZTFlYWY0ZWQtOGNhNS00NTgwLThiYWQtNWEyODRlMzAyMmMx&hl=en&authkey=CIz7uukJ https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ZjRiODYzMmEtMTNhMC00MWFkLTg5OTMtZGZmN2U1MWFhYmVl&hl=en&authkey=CJfwi5sG https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9Nzg5NWI3MWUtNmE0Zi00ZTA3LWE0OGEtMjk0ZmJhODU0YzBh&hl=en&authkey=CM_x280D https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9ZTYxN2NmZWUtNWU5YS00MjBjLWFlMzgtOWU5ZGNhY2UxMDcx&hl=en&authkey=COm3msAO
Lenchik 101 Thanks very much for sharing your notes/template, appreciate your kindness. Quick question…did you write these notes for all the curriculum or for a selective few. It seems like a lot of work but it sure paid off. I read CFA text and schweser and in the end used Schweser and have few hand written notes where I felt schweser did not cover that well.
Lenchik 101 many thanks for all these good stuff. You may not have uploaded the 2nd document in the array of 8 documents very well (https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8X3ZQtNwqM9OWU3OTczY2MtNzU1ZC00ZWU5LWEyNDEtNTQ1ODVhYmQ2YWM0&hl=en&authkey=CL2y28QM) Can you upload it again. Once again, many thanks/
Thanx a lot lenchik 101. Though chances are I may not use ur notes, I always prefer making my own, but its still very helpful. I always ended up making very detailed notes, often with lengthy paras, that i could never revise from, come exam time. I liked the way u have summarized everything. Ur notes are very crisp. I would try and follow this style of yours this time around. Thanx again for sharing.
Hi,
If you still have those templates, perhaps could share please? sachdeva.rohan90@gmail.com
Thanks in advance
This is an 8-year-old thread.
I wouldn’t hold my breath.
