With necessary caveats about the differences between correlation and causation, it appears crime in Chicago is down since the SCOTUS struck down the handgun ban and mandated the city allow concealed carry. The following article mentions a 56-year low in murder in 1Q 2014 which personally I think has more to do with the brutally cold winter but nonetheless the link between legalized concealed carry and the drop in crime is plausible.
