CFAI Mock Scores

It always feels worse than it really is…unless it is sample 2. For comfort add up your worst scores and see where you fall out. .25(lowest sample score) + .25(second lowest sample score) + .5(lowest mock score)=total score Even with 53% and a 66% I would have been above 70% if you included the mock today.

Good score. What did you freak out on? I got caught up on time stuff with mine. Taking too many notes after each question and rushed through Deriv’s.

rushed through derivatives, then on equity. i just plain forgot the whole intrinsic value/ franchise value thing and flipped! i just wasn’t sure on a ton of questions… i guess it went my way.

The franchise thing knocked me off my feet too. I’m going to look it up right now when I go through all questions again.

mock 1: 61 mock 2: 65 =( I don’t know how I can screw up ethics and derivatives so badly, both 33%. Looks like i t won’t be a day to relax tomorrow.

Mock 1: 65 Mock 2: 85 uh…I think I need to close the gap a bit…

70% on Mock1 78% on Mock2 I’m gonna do it!!!

Mock 1: 70 Mock 2: 75 Hope these scores extend to Saturday!

I’m only doing sample 1 and I will do Schweser 3 PM tonight. Sample 1: 80 Stupid division error in quant, went 3/6. Please everybody - do your best to be calm on Saturday so you minimize your stupid mistakes. You are all awesome from what I’ve seen and should do nothing other than PASS!

63 on Mock 1 83 on Mock 2 included 6/6 on Ethics, bombed Econ…

Finally took both: Mock 1 = 81% Mock 2 = 76% I can now with confidence say that Sample 2 was a crock of *# (scored 46%)

Found Ethics on 2 difficult: Mock 1: 71% Mock 2: 75%

I finally broke the 80% range…yay I am not sure to be confident or not though…so far my marks look as follows: Book 6 1AM 73% 1PM 75% 2AM 77% 2PM 78% 3AM 73% BSAS AM 75% BSAS PM 78% CFIA 2006 80% Sample 1 80% Mock 1 82% Still to Do Mock 2 and review weak earea.

So basically, every single practice exam you’ve taken, you’ve passed with room to spare. If that doesn’t get you confident, I don’t know what will. For me: Sample 1: 90% Sample 2: 73% Sample 3: 90% Mock 1: 85% Mock 2: Tomorrow Hard work paying off… can’t wait to get this monkey off my back!!

wow…those are good scores!

The reason behind that is: I failed last year with 5 of 8 areas over 70+ and going into the exam I was getting mid 70’s in all practice exams…so I don’t know how to feel anymore…this thing has beat me once…

N.VanCandidate , which area were you under 70 ? and did you feel you were far below 70 in those area ?

Book 6 1AM 67% 1PM 78% 2AM 60% 2PM 80% 3AM 75% CFIA 2006 75% Mock 1 67% Mock 2 72%

I think I was probably the top 10 (and I don`t mean % but actual people) under the curve…I had over 70 in Ethics, FSA, Quant, Equity, and Econ…with my calculations it was a matter of 1-2 questions…

Sample 1 80% Mock 1 73% Mock 2 81% Thought I had really nailed Mock 1 and had got 80+…surprised by the 73% but happy with how things are tracking overall. Massive relief to get a good score in Mock 2 - was feeling very stressed throughout. Franchise factor - still can’t seem to remember those formulas.
