This one is terrible, but…

Google’s home page says I should celebrate falafel today. I like it but why is it so expensive, it’s like beans and spices.

I think hummus is alright, maybe overrated.

Raisins are good. Especially golden raisins in curried rice with diced tart apples and finely chopped onion. And dark raisins in mango chutney, with apples, slivered almonds, spices galore, and, when I’m in the mood, hot chilies.
