"China mulls holidays marking Japanese defeat and Nanjing massacre"

^ Throw him out at the next election.

I’m still not convinced that the protestors in Ukraine represent the majority.

^ Just as the ones in Egypt, Syria and Libya may not have been either.

I already said why that may be unfeasible.

Egypt most definitely did.

Which time? The first time the “majority” protestors threw out their President or the second “majority” group of protestors that threw out the democratically elected President? You can’t have two groups opposing each other both be a majority.

That doesn’t make sense. These 2 protests were not 2 different protests of people on different sides.

The first one was to overthrow a despot, he had a layer of polish on him and he was relatively civil but he was still a despot.

After he went there were democratic elections where the most organized party was the muslim brotherhood. There were a minority who felt their promises were false but decided to roll with it.

After the MB started pushiing through laws which were designed to turn Egypt into an islamic state the same people who voted for them were back on the streets. Now you might argue that they should have voted them out at the ballot box but the country was still in its infancy and no country that has gone down the islamic route has a record of free and fair elections
