@CFAfatso Once you get the email notifying you that you’re approved for regular membership and you’ve passed Level 3 can you begin using the designation at that point or do you have to wait for anything else?
Check your CFAI account, or look for your name in the membership directory. If you have ,CFA after it, you are good to use the designation. I was awarded the charter on 8/11/15, had the designation shown in the directory and on my account, but did not recieve my “Congratuations, You are now a CFA® charterholder and may begin using the CFA designation.” email until yesterday (8/17).
