  1. Yes, this is an official petition to the Obama administration.

  2. If a petition gets 25,000 signatures in 30 days, the White House must issue an “official response”. The deadline is December 16. Right now, there are 4115 signatures.

It is your responsibility as citizens of the US and the world to support this heritage product.

Some PE firm will buy up the assets and continue the business. A temporary lack of twinkies may slow the rate of obesity in America.

Twinkies will survive, we don’t need the US Govt. to screw them up, although I prefer Krimpets.

That’s not the point. I just want to see Obama (or more likely, some staff person) issue an official response about Twinkie nationalization polict.
