Further, I would push back against your general thrust that men and women should have the same standards of behavior. Men and women have different things going on in their bodies. You will never truly understand what it’s like for a boy to go through puberty, as I will never understand what it’s like for a woman to be in her mid-thirties and not have a child or prospects to be married. However, I’d rather celebrate the differences than try to expect men and women to act the same. After all, evolution moves much more slowly than culture.

My general thrust is women should be allowed to chose their own standard of behaviour, w-out being judged. Precisely for the reasons you are describing here.

I understand what you’re getting at - women should have the right to express their sexuality as much as men without being judged. But why is this so? Why should they?

This is a silly counterargument. Same as saying if women get to wear a bra, the men should be able to do that.

It’s obviously not sensible for either party to do that.

why do women seek gender rights to justify in being promiscuous and stone the opposite gender while at it? the thing that gets me is why the argument is never isolated in women’s own virtues but rather a rebellion against the male gender. as for the girl in question, how can one feel empowered through rape fantasy?

The real question is what kinds of behavior justify being judged by others, and whether the consequences of being judged are appropriate to whatever that judgement is.
