Dude he’s been in decline for a long time, he hit a good patch of form around the WC, but before then and since then it’s just been meh. Had the older guys been phased out earlier, we’d gotten to blood players like Pujara, Rahane, Kohli and gotten a few years out of Badrinath at the top.
