Begins CFA ethics topic tests…0/6, 1/6 1/6… etc etc
Ethics is a bizarre one. I did all the CFA EOC questions (not the item set ones) and scored about 85% but then as soon as it transitioned into Vignette format I lost the plot.
I know this topic is beaten to death but I am really curious to know from people (especially people that started this subject poorly and now are scoring highly) what route you took? CFA EOC? Topic Tests? Reading the CFA Example boxes?
The reason an ethical person still struggles with these questions is the key to cracking it. That means there is a framework, like IFRS, that needs to be followed. You can’t use logic to deduce IFRS provisions right? (how to impair goodwill etc). Similarly with ethics there are a lot of protocols to remember.
