youre lucky. our club was trying to market it self as a top notch joint (but no one seemed to buy it) so we were not allowed to take tips AND left over food was supposed to be thrown away instead of being left for us. they would throw out lefotver crab cakes, steaks, shrimp, lobster instead of feeding us. hated that place.
one time this old wrinkly ass ho complained to my manager because i put the spoon for her coffee on the wrong side of the dish. lets say the next few times she had coffee at the club, she had something extra in there
Yesterday, I was at Subway and some middle aged guy in business clothes complained to the server that the turkey sandwich had only 7 slices of turkey, not 8. What a BSD. Also, people actually count the number of meat slices at Subway?
As a former Sandwich Artist, I can assure you that they do (both customers and employees, in theory).
Customers will also tell you which specific slice of tomato they want. “No, not that one. That one right there.”
FYI - I worked at Mickey D’s when I was 19, and worked at Subway during my last semester in grad school. (which was a summer–no TA or RA jobs available.)
They count everything. Subway guy next to us puts 4 slices of cheese per sandwich. If he picks up 5 slices by accident, instead of just throwing it on the sandwich he will place it back. Same thing with tomatoes and cucumbers.

Steel working is some serious employment. Much respect. A good friend of mine became a steel worker after being forced out of the NJ state police for shooting a few respectable citizens on the NJ turnpike some years back
^ Can you introduce me to your ‘good friend?’ I may have some dirty work to outsource to him/her. They gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean.

I kind of did, but there were guys with more experience and hot chicks who were, well, hot. So they got all the good shifts. I was the day time bartender.

This was very well publicized. Patrolling NJ TPK with his partner and they pull over an out-of-state minivan for speeding. Partner approaches minivan when driver claims it slips out of park and into reverse, hitting the trooper who then opens fire into the van. My buddy responds by also shooting into the van. Total of 11 shots fired with 3 of the 4 van occupants hit.
