Did you win, banni? How much did the ticket cost?

tickets cost $1. a group of us at work went in on $40 worth. there was no big winner so we can do it again on tuesday. it appears we may have won about $17 worth hitting the megaball, etc. but alas, the studies continue. goal today: finish every CFAI question in the corp fi book- have about 100 left b/c i’m almost done with reading 28’s but have the rest go go. crap-o. tomorrow: FSA in CFAI books- have done already once way back when, but will do again. i had thought about starting up with book 6 schweser tests, but i’m finding that these CFAI questions are amazingly valuable. my focus has shifted back to the cirriculum- we’ll see if that’s a good strategy soon. i will venture into some practice tests eventually to get my brain focused for many hours at a time, but strangely i’m not in a huge rush to do them. i feel like i already know my strong/weak areas and whether i get a 65% or an 80% on schweser right now, it’s not going to tweak my confidence much either way. so it’s just me and my CFAI books hardcore for the next little while. this is what i didn’t do last year, was more focused on q-bank and schweser, and i’m ready to embrace the real books now. i have a long day ahead of me. 9am, punching in the time clock for a few hrs and then will walk the doggie around 11ish. SO HUNGRY

I too have a loooooong day ahead of me. Goal for today is 1) read PM for a few hrs given that some of those chapters are extremely long. 2) do 30 qbank q’s of FSA just to get my mind thinking continuously of that stuff. 3) Review fixed income by doing some qbank and CFAI problems, particularly SS 15. I’ve only done 23% of qbank problems and intend to continue to work on that, but my focus will also gradually shift to CFAI problems as I realize that doing curriculum problems over and over again can only but help.

Starting now… hmm… I have to leave Corp Finance aside for a while now. Taking too much time than expected. Plan to start some PM now and then out for some shopping in the evening.

It has been decent 2 days of studying. Now I am calling it off for the night. Good luck team

This is what I’m doing now, CFAI all the way! I used CFAI for level 1 and it was the best tool. I knew most everything on the test because I learned it the CFAI way bannisja Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > tickets cost $1. a group of us at work went in on > $40 worth. there was no big winner so we can do > it again on tuesday. it appears we may have won > about $17 worth hitting the megaball, etc. but > alas, the studies continue. > > goal today: finish every CFAI question in the > corp fi book- have about 100 left b/c i’m almost > done with reading 28’s but have the rest go go. > crap-o. > tomorrow: FSA in CFAI books- have done already > once way back when, but will do again. > > i had thought about starting up with book 6 > schweser tests, but i’m finding that these CFAI > questions are amazingly valuable. my focus has > shifted back to the cirriculum- we’ll see if > that’s a good strategy soon. i will venture into > some practice tests eventually to get my brain > focused for many hours at a time, but strangely > i’m not in a huge rush to do them. i feel like i > already know my strong/weak areas and whether i > get a 65% or an 80% on schweser right now, it’s > not going to tweak my confidence much either way. > so it’s just me and my CFAI books hardcore for > the next little while. this is what i didn’t do > last year, was more focused on q-bank and > schweser, and i’m ready to embrace the real books > now. > > i have a long day ahead of me. 9am, punching in > the time clock for a few hrs and then will walk > the doggie around 11ish. > > SO HUNGRY
