They said the same praises about GWB. On the other hand, you have NATO debating whether to formally criticize Assad while Russia promises to veto… what a joke. I did kind of laugh because yesterday CNN ran an article about Putin challenging Trump to say what exactly he’d do, whoops.
Anyhow, it clearly wasn’t my first choice of outcomes, but if the guy can limit the propagation from this so that it curbs Assad’s behavior without drawing us into a deeper hole with Russia, dragging out the civil war (already going 6 years) or getting us involved on the ground, then I’ll cheers to that.
