The Thorne scene was good.
Dragons sure look a lot more vulnerable than we were led to believe. Three dragons really took out the entire armed forces of Pre-Aegon Westeros? It seems that a few carefully thrown chopsticks can take them down or at least maim them enough to force a retreat. Or maybe Drogon was just caught during molting season??
Tyron’s look of astonishment at his first true encounter with a dragon was great, though.
And those unsullied sure don’t seem to be very effective. I know there’s a difference between armies and policing, but it’s not as if the Sons of the Harpy are professional warriors, or even particularly well armed. Are they just getting lazy? Do they just want a raise?
Agree with the Unsullied.
The three dragons used to conquer Westeros were huge, I believe. Drogon could barely take off with little Danny at first. They are still relatively young. Growthwise, I think the dragons have a long way to go.
Why was Jorah having such a hard time in the pits? That dude used to crush ass…he got lucky AF. I was saying the same thing about the Unsullied…I think theyre soft now because they all love Dany and theyre “free”…they were hard as sh*t when they were slaves and had nothing to lose…remember when the dude cut his nipple? Unsullied just stood there.
Balerions head was the size of a small room, in other words, a lot bigger than Drogon. Unsullied are disciplined and tough, but not the most dangerous fighters necessarily.
Ok, so Baleiron is bigger than Drogon, I can accept that maybe the dragons are a bit young yet, and therefore more vulnerable.
As for the Unsullied, perhaps they are not the most dangerous, but both Jorah and Grey Worm (and Ser Barristan) seemed far more accomplished in this scene from Yunkai than they do against unarmored civilians in Mereen:
I think part of it was the sheer number man. No matter how good you are, that was not going to end well.
I get that, but the video scene above has the group outnumbered by far more, yet they take the city. I get that there is a certain suspension of disbelief, but the degree to which suspension of disbelief is maintained should be consistent, no?
Errbody gettin crunk at da party and then all these fools jump out the walls with masks. Poor soldiers weren’t mentally prepared for that
Looks like this season is ending in a cliffhanger like ADWD. Lame.
Is Dany going to get greyscale? I noticed that Jorah grabbed her at some point. Or this that more of a small detail not likely to show up later?
Norah’s likely not contagious yet. It’s probably like Ebola, it’s contagious near the end.
Shireen got it from a doll so im pretty sure its very contagious…also what they did to her was effed up.
STL, which episode should i watch from if i read all the books? Are all story lines past the story lines in the books? Need to fill my time before True Detective Season 2 comes out
